Title: Cyber Security Platform Engineer

Overview

We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer to help ensure the security, stability, and integrity of enterprise digital assets by managing and optimizing a portfolio of cybersecurity platforms and applications. This is a hands-on, operational role where you’ll troubleshoot issues daily, improve platform performance through automation, and partner closely with SOC, IAM, and infrastructure teams.

This position offers broad exposure across modern cybersecurity tooling within a large enterprise environment, with strong opportunity to expand your technical skill set while making a direct impact on end-user security and experience.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Engineer, design, implement, and support cybersecurity platforms and applications across the full lifecycle
• Investigate and resolve platform incidents, escalations, and operational issues in a timely manner
• Integrate security platforms with monitoring tools and ensure coverage across protected assets
• Automate and optimize processes to improve performance and reduce manual intervention
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SOC, IAM, and infrastructure teams to support implementation, coverage, and ongoing improvements

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of IT experience
• If no Associate’s degree: 8+ years relevant experience, or 5+ years + a security certification may be considered
• Experience in enterprise environments with items such as:
• Active Directory / enterprise directories
• Azure scripting and/or automation
• RBAC principles
• Cloud computing environments (preferred)
• Working knowledge or experience with:
• Azure cloud services
• Cloud security concepts
• Vulnerability management platforms
• SIEM integration
• OT security concepts (helpful/desired)

Preferred / Bonus Experience

• Practical experience with: Wiz.io, Tenable, Infoblox BloxOne
• Interest in or exposure to:
• Performance metrics
• Incident logging / alerting
