Job Title: Cloud Operations & Observability Engineer
Department: Infrastructure Cloud Services
Type: Contract – 6 months

Position Summary

The Cloud Operations & Observability Engineer supports Azure observability, monitoring, automation, and security platforms, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Microsoft Sentinel, and related Azure infrastructure. This role partners with Infrastructure Cloud Services and Cybersecurity to deploy, administer, optimize, and transition these platforms into reliable operational support, while Cybersecurity retains ownership of security governance, threat monitoring, and incident response.

Success Measures

  • Successful delivery and operationalization of Microsoft Sentinel capabilities.
  • Availability and reliability of Azure observability services.
  • Reduction in operational incidents and recurring platform issues.
  • Completion and adoption of operational documentation and runbooks.
  • Successful transition of support activities into future MSP operations.
  • Operationalized observability and security platform services in support of ISO-27001 remediation and cybersecurity initiatives.
